    因為沒有筆電,所以想做一個功能不強的文書機

    Because I have no laptop, I wanted to compose my own low performance computer to handle some easy document work.

    The design of mechanism is very free. You can use any material you like and easy to be processed.

    The material I was used is aluminum. But I didn’t draw any specific mechanism design.......I just drew the draft on my note and then went to buy the material. The main mechanism is composed by aluminum extrusion, plate, and triangle stick. All the components were fixed together by stainless internal hex screws.

    製作過程(The Test and Some Record)

    I tested the LCD panel with LCD control board. The supply voltage of the board was originally 12V. After the test, the board was modified to be supplied by 5V voltage. The total power consumption of LCD monitor is about 7W.  The power supply was chosen to support the operation of both LCD monitor and computer board. The problem is a 5V compact switching power supply with more than 3A output is not easy to be found. The final power adapter I chose is Dell 5V 2.6A.

    The back of the first prototype. The raspberry pi  2 was not stuck on the aluminum board....The power adapter of LCD monitor is HP 5V 2A.

    The right side is the board to be modified to make it thinner by lying down the capacitor and inductor. But the board was broken by my poor soldering technique....

    Because of the ARM architecture of the BCM2836 on raspberry pi 2, the only remote desktop software you can use directly is the chrome desktop. The speed is not fast.
